Stacy is trained as an environmental geologist, writer and educator. As a consultant to the Bank of New England, Fleet Bank and numerous law firms, she took a leading role in assessing and reporting on the risks associated with contaminated land in New England and the U.K. As a trusted scientific advisor to The Co-operative Bank, she created an environmental lending policy aimed at avoiding high-risk loans on property compromised by industrial contamination. Stacy is now a climate and science advisor assisting clients in understanding the impacts of climate change on the environment, society and the economy. She guides insurance companies, manufacturers, lenders, endowment managers and political campaigns on climate change response strategies that make sense.
